Frequently asked questions

Can you ship?

Currently, Next Chapter Woodworks primarily operates with physical pickup options from our booth in Cabot, Arkansas. We do not offer shipping services at this time, but we are always exploring options for the future!

Are these handmade?

Absolutely! Every single wooden planter from Next Chapter Woodworks is meticulously handmade by me. It's all part of my woodworking studies and my journey to learn about small business. Each piece is unique and crafted with care.

Where are you located?

Next Chapter Woodworks has a booth rented on a yearly basis at the Makers Market. This is where you can see my finished products and pick up your online orders. You can find us at 110 N. 1st Street in Downtown Cabot, Arkansas

What's your process for online orders with pickup?

Once your planter is completed and ready, we deliver it to the Makers Market for your convenient pick-up. We'll notify you when it's ready.

What size are the Planters?

The planters vary in height and length.  On average they measure approximately ten inches high and thirteen inches long.  

Are they for outdoor use?

We spray a clear finish coat to prevent color fade and seal the wood however the planters are not suitable for constant exposure to the elements.

Are the Pictures accurate?

 Yes.  We take a picture of the actual planter shown and then the background is added using a photo app.

What if I'm not happy with my purchase?

Your satisfaction is important to us. If, for any reason, you decide you no longer want the planter you ordered for pickup at the Makers Market, you can cancel your order. Please contact us as soon as possible at info@nextchapterwoodworks.com to arrange a cancellation.

Can I request a custom planter?

While we currently focus on the designs available, we're always open to hearing new ideas! Please reach out to us at info@nextchapterwoodworks.com with your thoughts, and we can discuss potential custom projects based on our capacity and expertise.

The Planter I'm interested is showing sold.  Will there be more?

Yes! as soon as another planter of that style is completed, we will update the website.  You can enter your email address on the product page and be notified when it's available.
